I was born in China in 1941 and studied at the Fine Arts School of Chung Nam at the age of 13. By the age of 20 I entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Canton where I studied and eventually received a teaching position. Today my works are in a host of corporate and private collections.

From the soft romantic courtyard to the rich, patterned still life, my elegant images redefine a whole genre of oil paintings on canvas. Coupling ancient Chinese techniques with a comtemporary application of texture, the paintings have created a sensation in homes and galleries across America.

I found it very true that its better to travel a thousand miles than to read a thousand books. With the birth of a fast paced century the art world seems to be returning to an era laden with romanticism, craftsmanship and style. My paintings embody this trend and serve to create a new wave of neo-impressionism.
